Getting the right fit depends entirely on how you prefer to style your knot. Grab a soft measuring tape and use one of the two formulas below:
Option A: The Visible Knot Gap (3cm–4cm Subtraction)
Choose this method if you want the leather edges to sit slightly apart, leaving a small gap that highlights your knotted silk scarf.
Wrap a tape measure snugly around your natural waistline.
Subtract 3 cm to 4 cm from that total measurement.
This final number is your target belt size.
Option B: The Flush, No-Gap Fit (2cm Addition)
Choose this method if you want a seamless look where the leather ends meet perfectly, covering the scarf underneath completely.
Wrap a tape measure around your natural waistline.
Add 2cm (or the thickness of 2 fingers) to account for your clothing layers.
This final number is your target belt size.
